Install Slashpack

  • Click Add to Slack and approve the Slack slash command permission.
  • After Slack redirects back to Slashpack, save the workspace owner email for trial, billing, reconnect, and deletion notices.
  • Connect Google Drive or Notion from the onboarding screen or dashboard.
  • For Google Drive, choose the folder that contains approved brand assets. For Notion, choose the page or database source that contains asset files.
  • Run the first sync, then use /brand help in Slack to see available commands.

Use Slashpack in Slack

  • Type /brand help for the command guide.
  • Type /brand logo, /brand logo dark, /brand colors, or /brand fonts to find common brand assets.
  • Type /brand search launch deck or another natural-language query to search by intent.
  • Type /brand list to see the latest indexed assets.
  • Slashpack replies ephemerally, so search results are visible to the person who ran the command unless they share the result.

Troubleshooting

  • If /brand says the workspace is not connected, reinstall Slashpack from the same Slack workspace or ask the installing admin to reconnect.
  • If a source sync fails, reconnect Google Drive or Notion and confirm the selected folder, page, or database is still accessible.
  • If assets are missing, confirm they are inside the selected source and run sync again from the dashboard.
  • If billing blocks search, open the Billing page from the dashboard and update the subscription through Stripe.
  • If a command looks delayed, wait a few seconds. Larger searches are processed asynchronously and returned through Slack.

Before you write

  • Use the same email address saved in Slashpack whenever possible.
  • Include your Slack workspace name and the screen or flow where the issue happened.
  • For billing or checkout help, include the email used for Stripe checkout.
  • For privacy requests, clearly state whether you want access, correction, export, or deletion.
  • For source sync issues, mention whether the issue is with Google Drive or Notion.

Data and deletion

Workspace owners can disconnect an individual source or request workspace deletion from the dashboard. Deletion revokes source tokens where supported, removes stored tokens, marks related records deleted, and schedules final deletion after 7 days.
